1. Overview & Commitment

We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how HeelFix handles user data, foot images, AI analysis, local progress data, and subscription information.

2. Account Data & Authentication

HeelFix operates locally without mandatory user accounts or server sign-in. We do not collect your real name, email address, or phone number during normal app usage.

3. Heel Photo Processing & AI Staging

  • Processing: When you capture a photo, it is securely transmitted over HTTPS with iOS DeviceCheck verification.
  • Analysis: Photos are evaluated transiently via the Google Gemini API to analyze dryness, cracks, callus, and skin texture.
  • Retention: Images sent to the AI API are processed ephemerally for severity scoring and are NOT retained on remote AI servers or used for public AI training.

4. On-Device Storage & Security

All scan history, progress logs, images, and routine preferences are saved locally on your device via SwiftData and UserDefaults. You retain full control of your local data.

5. Subscription & Payment Information

Subscriptions and payments are managed entirely by Apple App Store using StoreKit 2. We do not receive, store, or process your credit card numbers or financial credentials.

6. Data Retention, Export & Deletion

You may export your scan records or permanently wipe all locally stored data at any time directly within the app under Settings → Delete All My Data.
